Can I write a book about Anubis?
Does it like violate copyright or anything? Anubis is a ancient Egyptian God and I don't know if you can write books about religious things even if they are ancient.
I cannot imagine there being a problem with using an Egyptian god in a book. Why, the gods themselves were stories (myths) to explain natural occurences such as rainfall and winter's snow. Anubis is a great choice as the subject of a book. Do not worry about the religious context; a book is a book. A book is essentially the author's opinion on a subject, whether fiction or nonfiction. Therefore, write away!
