How to stop a throw rug from traveling. I have a couple 3'x5' area rugs on carpet that keeps moving?
They are on carpet and I'm getting tired of pulling them back.
You can purchase rug padding that is made for area rugs used on wall-to-wall. If you are unable to find this particular item, you can purchase the heavy duty rug pad that is rubber on one side and rough wool on the other and just use it upside down, where the rubber is up and the rough wool is in contact with the wall-to-wall. The rubber will hold the rug in place. It may cause the wall-to-wall underneath to get matted down by quite a bit overtime, though, just to give you a warning.
