Is painting acoustic ceiling tile a fire code violation?
I know laws may vary, but is this something that could be a violation? Aren't the tiles flame retardent rated?
This is in a classroom in a public school
I would check with local fire codes in your town at your fire department or municipal building. They do make fire retardant paint, maybe you could us that.
