why does my domain village folk art get redirected to american frame domain?
Well, Barb, for a start, your domain is "villagefolkart.com", not "village folk art," as you mentioned, nor "villagefolkart.org," etc.
That domain record, maintained by your registrar, not your web host, points to a server, currently p4p.geo.vip.re4.yahoo.com (216.39.62.192), which is owned by Altavista Company. This is not what you want.

If you have a proper web site (one you are paying for), your web hosting company can diagnose the problem and and tell you what to do, which will involve pointing the registrar's domain address record to the web hosting server owned by the hosting company.
However, if you aren't paying for web hosting and just want to redirect to a blog address, such as
http://villagefolkart-barb.blogspot.com
then you have to solve the problem yourself, with your registrar. In that case, you have to turn on a 'URL redirect' service (sometimes called "URL forwarding" or "domain forwarding") with your registrar. This will set the domain record to point to a redirect server, owned by the registrar, which will then serve up an invisible web page that redirects browsers over to your blog address. Not all registrars offer this service, however.
