How to take guard/tsuba off of bokken/katana?
I have a with a proper fitting tsuba with a rubber stopper on my ColdSteel bokken. But its starting to get in the away. How do I remove it properly? Do I just pull it off?
well find a flathead screwdriver the bigger the better( a knife would also work) place it etween the rubber part and the guard then twist against the guard this could help inch it to the point you can take it off easily after the stopper is off you should be able to pull the guard off using your hands
if all else fails get a razor knife(box cutter) and slowly cut till it is removed
