Can A Game Disk Be fixed?

We have a PS2 game named Jade Cocoon2. But everytime we put the disk in the ps2 it goes to a red screen and just doesnt work.
There;s no scratches.

Can i bring the disk to any store to get it fixed?

If you still have your receipt and are within the store's return policy time frame, you can take it back and get a replacement of the total game. Make sure to return all the materials that came with it; box, manual etc...

You can also go on-line to the game's maker and ask if they would replace a faulty disk.

Last resort: buy a totally new copy, take it home and return the faulty one the next day for a refund, using the receipt for the new one. Just make sure the store's policy included refund, and not just exact replacement. I leave it to your concience to decide the ethics of this solution.
