does being an army officer give you any say-so on where you would like to be stationed?
My wife is a japanese citizen so I was thinking japan, but I hear you have a better chance at winning the lotto than getting japan with the army.
As an officer you will fill out a 'dream sheet' listing the places you would like to be stationed. If there is a vacancy in that location then they will try to send the people who want to go there first.
However everybody wants to go to Japan and there are very few positions there so I suggest that you start buying lottery tickets.
