Why do catholics teach salvation through the maret of Mary and not Jesus?
Catholics teach that is it Mary and not Jesus that will lead to salvation. That it was Mary and not Jesus that was born of a virgin, That Its Mary that is speaking for us in heaven.
Mary was just as human and faulable as the rest of us. What made her acceptable to carry Jesus was her virgin state. Jesus was perfact. Not Mary. Yet I hear catholics say there Hail Mary's like she is the savior of the earth.
Where is your source for what Catholics teach? It surely is not a Catholic catechism.

Wrong. Mary will lead us to Jesus, but it is Jesus who saves us.

Wrong, Mary's mother was not a virgin. jesus' mother, Mary, was a virgin.

Yes, Mary is in Heaven and she speaks (prays) to God on our behalf.

Yes. Mary was human and she was not perfect. She was preserved from sin by the grace of God, but she was not perfect.

Wrong. God saw her as acceptable to carry Jesus. It was God's grace that made her fitting to be the mother of the savior of the world.
"Jesus was perfact. Not Mary."
Agreed. Both were sinless, but only Jesus, being God, is perfect.

"Hail Mary" is simply a greeting, similar to "Hi, Mary". Saying "Hail Mary" does not mean we think she is the savior of the world.
