What Do You Think About the "Super-Sizing" of the Last Supper?
According to a recent study, food portions in paintings of the Last Supper have grown by 69% over the last 1,000 years. The bread portion, specifically, grew by 23% percent. Besides people eating larger meals throughout time, is there any religious or spiritual explanation for such an interesting occurrence? Also how do the size of the meals in such painting compare to Eucharists or Passover meals that you have eaten? Thanks for your thoughts!

I read that story weeks ago on Arts & Letters. We have better technology for food production so perhaps it has to do with the portions we now eat. We are bigger people then we used to be as well.
