I'd do the Pyramids. They are extremely interesting monuments to the dead and the glory of Egypt and they are still around today. I find them fascinating. You could even tie Pyramids to Hieroglyphs and mummies, Egyptian art, or the Gods. I feel like that is just a good topic in and of itself but it is broad enough that you can expand it if you felt the need to.
