why are some christians not open to discussion and so judgemental

read the first few chapters of romans, you don't judge others! so here's what i'm saying, christians say fornication is sin, but what if you have an engagement ring on the womans finger and you know in your heart you love her and want to marry her and have no lustful behavior and just want to express love in a sexual way, how is that sin, the bible doesn't say on the night of the wedding is when a man first lays with a woman but nowadays you get all these warped christians saying ANY sexual activity that is premarital is considered fornication, i think it's wrong if you plan on living your whole life with the significant other, i'm sure it's not totally sin just to make love with a woman you are going to marry on a date that is set in stone

The Bible doesn't say we shouldn't judge. It says we shouldn't be critical.

1Cor. 2:14-16 -
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:
16"For who has known the mind of the Lord
that he may instruct him?"[d] But we have the mind of Christ.

If you really love someone, you can walk in patience and self control. If you don't exercise those virtues before marriage, odds are you won't after marriage. A lot of couples who didn't wait until they were married, don't trust (or respect) each other after they're married, and they also tend to fight unfair - scream and "hit below the belt" because self control was never valued and established when they were laying the foundation of their relationship.

The wedding is about making a vow before God and man of your commitment to honor, and love one another. Too many people change their mind after sleeping with one another because 1). Why pay for it when it's free? 2). There's no one there to hold them accountable for their vows, 3). Men are like rubberbands, they get close and then pull away like Dr. John Gray has said in his books. After sex men will tend to pull away emotionally and sometimes if there is not legal commitment or community to remind them of their vows, they don't feel the need to return.

Sex is a beautiful thing and as a Christian I think it's practically sinful for married people to not have it ALOT!!
