Should we or should't trust First and Second Timothy as much as we trust the rest of the NT? Read details, Ok?
We have over 100 papyri that date from the second to the seventh century. Over 60 of these date from before 303 CE/AD.
These papyri show us how the New Testament wording changed, or didn't change before the time of the main Uncial manuscripts c. 350 CE/AD. Using these we can verify the integrity of the NT.
These papyri represent every NT book EXCEPT FIRST AND SECOND TIMOTHY. For these two Bible books, we have no papyri to verify or falsify these books.
So, should this or should this not affect our reliance on these two books?
